Warranty coverage will begin on the product purchase date, and the duration of the warranty is for as long as you own the unit. Warranty is non transferrable.

Mileage Shop warrants to the customer that our hydrogen generators shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship.
|
|

Warranty covers only defects that arise as a result of normal use of the product, and does not cover any other problems, including those that arise as a result of improper installation, maintenance or modifications. Warranty will not cover the use of alternative parts or supplies not provided or supported by Mileage Shop as well as the operation of the generator outside the product's specifications.

Warranty will only cover the Hydrogen Generator itself, not the additional parts and accessories that we include in our kits, they are covered by their own manufacturers warranty and are shipped to you new. If there is a problem with any of these items, contact us within 15 days for replacement before installation on the vehicle. Once installed, we can not return it to the mfg. and the item can not be returned. Warranty will be null and void if products have been remanufactured, reverse engineered, cut or sawed into, or tampered with in any way.

Once Mileage Shop receives notice from the customer of any defect in the hydrogen generator, we shall either repair or replace the product, at the Mileage Shops option. In the event that we are unable to repair or replace, the defective generator we shall, within a reasonable time after being notified of the defect, refund the purchase price of the product.

Mileage Shop shall have no obligation to repair, replace, or refund any product until the customer returns the defective product along with proof of purchase to Mileage Shop

Under this warranty any replacement product may be either new or like new, provided that it has functionality at least equal to that of the product being replaced. Replacement parts may contain remanufactured parts, components, or materials equivalent to new in performance.

If you are returning a Hydrogen generator for a lack of Hydrogen Production, The Mileage Shop will first test the generator to determine the Hydrogen gas output. If the generator is simply malfunctioning and can be repaired, the Mileage Shop alone will have the option of either repairing the generator, send you a new generator, or issuing a refund. If you notice a reduction in performance, this is not a defect or an indication it is broken. It could simply indicate that the unit may need drained and flushed with clean water.

The expense of all postage or shipping costs from a customer to the Mileage Shop shall be the sole responsibility of the customer. Shipping costs are not refundable or reimbursed under any circumstances, unless we make a mistake on your order, (in which case we will be responsible for shipping costs.)

We do not warranty or reimburse you for any modifications done to your vehicle as a result of the installation of our hydrogen units, nor do we warrant any damage to your vehicle, engine, person(s), or property as a result of direct or indirect use of our generator whether installed in a vehicle or not. This is a do it yourself type product and we cannot control nor warranty the cost of installation. If you hire a mechanic or friend to help in the installation, it is at your own risk. Poor quality or sub standard installations are not covered in warranty. |
Call our office at (928) 772-6600, give us your order number, and we will ship you out (1) 2.5 oz bottle of electrolyte. We will only ship one bottle at a time. There will be no cost to you for the electrolyte, you will only pay $4.95 to cover the shipping cost to you. You can order additional electrolyte as often as you need.
The Mileage Shop Hydrogen generator System Performance figures of improved fuel efficiency posted on our website are based on actual test vehicles, or our customers testimonials. Results were based on different vehicles which have electronic fuel injection or standard combustion/carburetor engines, both gasoline and diesel models. Individual results can vary considerably due to a variety of factors including but not limited to altitude, humidity, barometric pressure, outside temperature, vehicle age, and state of vehicle tune, vehicles charging system at a constant 13.8 volts, vehicle manufacturer engine tolerances, vehicle modifications, chassis, engine and quality of the installation. Because the Mileage Shop has no control over these varibles we cannot make any guarantees regarding actual performance results.
Product Installation:
All Mileage Shop products must be properly installed in order to function as designed. It is recommended that a certified vehicle mechanic perform the installation. Every effort has been made to provide the customer with a detailed set of installation instructions. These instructions are packed with each unit and must be followed closely to avoid any installation errors that could cause a unit to malfunction and void the warranty. This warranty does not cover non-performance of units improperly installed. The installer is responsible to the customer for his/her installation and for correcting an improper installation.
Limitations of Warranty:
To the extent allowed by local law, neither Mileage Shop nor it's third party suppliers make any other warranty or condition of any kind, whether express or implied. Warranties or conditions, satisfactory quality for a particular purpose. Damages to a customers vehicle is not covered by this warranty.
Limitations of Liability:
To the extent allowed by local law, Except for the obligations specifically set forth in this warrant statement, in no event shall Mileage Shop or it's third party suppliers be liable for any damages either direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages, whether based on contract, tort, or any other legal theory and whether advised of the possibility of such damages.
Limitations of Shipping Liability:
All new orders will be shipped to the customer within 24 hours the order was placed. The package will be shipped by UPS driver release unless other wise requested from the customer when the order is placed. Customers shall also receive via email, UPS tracking information regarding their order. Once a customer places an order and the order is shipped out, if the customer refuses delivery there will be a refusal shipping charge of fifty dollars to cover our shipping and handling costs. We can not be responsible for misplaced or lost packages left by UPS at the drivers discretion. Once your order is a confirmed delivery to the order delivery address by UPS, it is then the customers responsibilty to contact UPS regarding a claim. (i.e. "damaged package, stolen, misplaced) Please contact us with any issues within 24 hours of confirmed delivery so that we may assist you.
If Repair Services are Needed:
If you need to return a product for repair or if service is needed on your System you must first call our customer service at (928) 772-6600 and we will e-mail you a Repair Merchandise Authorization (RMA) form. This (RMA) form must be included Inside the returned box, so that we will have all of the information required to repair the unit and return to you. Please return your Hydrogen generator only to the return address that is on our RMA form, not to the address listed on the original product box, they are different address. For the protection of Mileage Shop, we must refuse, and return to sender, any packages that do not display our (RMA) number.
Please measure the space in your vehicle and do your hydrogen research first because we do not accept any returns for refunds only repairs. This includes but is not limited to, customer negligence, buyers regret, installation difficulty, insufficient mounting space, individual MPG results not as expected, never installed, or just simply changed your mind; except as specified above regarding a manufacturer's defect which is covered under our warranty.
Please be aware that any packages sent by normal U.S. Postal Service cannot be tracked to ensure delivery, therefore, postal insurance and delivery confirmation service is recommended. The Mileage Shop can not be responsible for loss, or damage of returned items.
